Iridium

Iridium Satellite LLC, a privately held company, is the only provider of truly global satellite voice and data communications solutions with complete coverage of the entire Earth including oceans, airways and even Polar Regions. Iridium delivers reliable, secure, real-time, mission-critical communications services to and from areas where landlines and terrestrial-based wireless services are either unavailable or unreliable.
Iridium's constellation consists of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO), cross-linked satellites operating as a fully meshed network and supported by multiple in-orbit spares. It is the largest commercial satellite constellation in the world. Iridium sells its equipment and services through a network of service providers and value added resellers. European Datacomm holds a service provider contract for Iridium hardware and Iridium voice and data communication services.

Inmarsat

Inmarsat has stood at the forefront of mobile satellite services for 30 years and is the world's leading provider of global mobile satellite communications. They provide voice and high-speed data services to almost anywhere on the planet - on land, at sea and in the air. Inmarsat owns and operates 11 satellites in geostationary orbit 35,786km above the Earth, controlled from the HQ in London via ground stations located around the globe. Their services are sold through a worldwide network of distribution partners and service providers. As an Inmarsat accredited service provider European Datacomm has direct access to Inmarsat Partner support, training and documentation.
