European Datacomm N.V. develops with Casnet B.v.b.a. the first Sunrise M2M application

20/02/2013

The M2M marketplace is rapidly evolving towards solutions that integrate within enterprise systems, connecting live sensor and geolocation data to optimize visibility and management of processes.

European Datacomm N.V., known as EDC, has joined forces with Casnet Bvba, a certified partner of the Sunrise platform www.mysunrise.eu , to develop a Sunrise AppExchange component. This initiative will allow Sunrise users to rapidly deploy sensor and geolocation technology within their organization without compromising current operational activities and significantly increasing return on investment.

A pilot project has been defined in which the new component will be deployed and tested for Het Wijnhuis, a reputable Belgian wine wholesaler with a strong sense of innovation that runs its full operations under Sunrise. The component should increase visibility within logistics and sales processes and result in higher inventory turnover, improved resource management and increased security. A case description will be documented and made available online later this year.

After completion and testing, the component will be made available through the Sunrise AppExchange platform and sold online as an add-on. Through this partnership, EDC and Casnet are reaffirming their strong believe in innovative solutions and the leverage of a reliable partner ecosystem to deliver quality of services.
